| Sunday morning we found a nice baptist church and attended. Afterward, we met a nice group of folks that spent some time with us. Here we are discussing the state of the world's problems in the parking lot. | ![]() |
| We had taken the 32 to church and the nice couple in the above photo had their two granddaughters with them. Only Taylor was willing to sit in the car and get her picture taken. Later, both got in the rumble seat and I took them for a quick tour of the parking lot. They loved it. | ![]() |
| Just outside of Weatherford is, or was, a local legend. Lucille was a lady who owned a filling station years ago. Well, she has since passed on and this is how the station looks today. It is a local icon for pictures and a great asset to the old Route 66. | ![]() |
| The folks who currently own the old Lucille's , Rick and Shiela, have built a brand new Lucille's in Weatherford. Here, Woody and Dave are at the counter and are being served by "Bill At The Grill". Both Woody and Dave are now FOB. "Friends of Bill. | ![]() |
| The new Lucille's is probably one of the nicest and most thoughout and executed restaurants I have seen. Yes, this is the middle of Oklahoma, but this soda fountain restaurant complex would fit right in to any place in the country. If you ever pass through Weatherford, plan to stop at Lucille's. Oh, and have the onion hamburger. Tell Bill we sent you. | ![]() |
| We went to the Stafford Air and Space Museum. Here, Dave is standing beside the F1 rocket engine used on the Saturn V rocket. This rocket had five of these engines which propelled a 353 ft tall rocket that weighed 3000 tons from a dead stop to 9 times the speed of sound in about 2 1/2 minutes. These engines consumed fuel at, get this, 13.1 TONS per SECOND. And you thought your SUV was a gas hog. | ![]() |

| The Great All-American Road Show is a family values experience. We believe that integrity, hardwork, a strong moral compass and basic self-discipline are values that have made and will keep this country great. As we travel across this great land, it is our intention to let communities and individuals enjoy the freedoms we hold dear. We encourage everyone to do all things in moderation and exhibit a general concern for the welfare of others. | ![]() |
