| Coming into Tucumcari, you are greeted by this most wonderful art piece. It resembles the tail fin of a 57 Plymouth. Maybe a Cadillac. It was certainly worth stopping and taking a picture. | ![]() |
| First thing Tuesday morning in Tucumcari, we had the chance to be on the radio with Catherine Bugg of KTNM AM and KQAY FM. We had a good time. I felt right at home as I have always felt I had a "radio face." | ![]() |
| One of the high points on this journey was finding the Dinosaur Museum in Tucumcari. It is in the middle of downtown and is sponsored by the local community college. This is a first class museum. I have personally designed a few displays and this one of the nicest and best designed I have seen. One of the things they do is to create bronze castings of the bones. This way the visitor can actually touch and feel them. | ![]() |
| Here, Dave is clowning with one of the residents. He doesn't seem amused. | ![]() |

This is a mural that was painted on the side of the grocery store. You have to remember that this is actually about 75 to 100 feet long so presented here is not really doing it justice.

| Later, we stopped in a really little town called Adrian. I think the population is actually about 150. Adrian is the home of the Midpoint Cafe. They are exactly half way between Santa Monica and Chicago on Route 66. Fran, the owner spent some time with us and told us all about Adrian, how she runs the Cafe and a little history of the community. Oh, we had her world famous pie and all the stories are true. It is marvelous. It is worth the stop just for the pie. | ![]() |

| The Great All-American Road Show is a family values experience. We believe that integrity, hardwork, a strong moral compass and basic self-discipline are values that have made and will keep this country great. As we travel across this great land, it is our intention to let communities and individuals enjoy the freedoms we hold dear. We encourage everyone to do all things in moderation and exhibit a general concern for the welfare of others. | ![]() |
