| Summerfest is an event that is held in Albuquerque every summer. This year the theme was 50's and 60's. We got set up on one of the streets by the courthouse and put the car almost in the middle of the intersection. It was a great crowd pleaser. Just about everyone who came by had to stop and take a look. | |
| We joined up with a local car club. This is a 1941 GM panel truck done in the Route 66 motif. The entire interior is Route 66! |  |
| Down the block there was a rock band doing their thing. We could hear them but there was a great bunch of kids right next to us and they were really going for it. |  |
| This is the group that was next to us. They could sing, dance and march. Here they were doin the Macarana. |  |
| Poor Ryan! The Street Surfing team worked with us and they must have assisted over 100 kids. This went on for three hours. Ryan finally sat down for a break. I was amazed that just about all the kids who tried it was on their own in about 15 minutes. One young lady was there probably two hours and got really good. |  |
