The Great All American Road Show will be touring across America, following the famous Route 66. It is our desire to help build each community's economic development by bringing attention to the specific events being held in each community. Join with us as we travel across America and share in the wonderful traditions of this great nation.

Cities and dates/schedule of events
     
       
  There are many ways you can get involved. We will need many volunteers all along the route. Please contact  your local Chamber of Commerce, Mayor's Office or School and ask if they have received their information packet.    
  Here are a few ideas for your community. These are just to get you thinking. We are sure that you can come up with something even better.   If you need ideas or help to determine how to do an event, just ask. We would love to work with your community to put you on the map.   1. Raise dollars for scholarships for children of fallen soldiers of the Afghanistan and Iraqi war. Update: This is happening and now called, "Help Us Change The World". We are planning on having a street rod truck with a big box on the back so people can donate their "change". Get it? All monies will go to scholarships.
  2. Build a Large Unique Gazebo (large enough to hold a wedding or musicians for a concert) in a park in each city and have it dedicated to that city’s war dead.
  3. To have a Beauty Queen and Court for each City or Town.
  4. Farmers Market and Swap Meet.
  5. Have celebrities and Major Sport figure be Grand Marshall’s for section of the tour.
  6. Have an Entertainment Event.
  7. Chili Cook-off, Best Pie contest, etc.
  8. Sponsor a Fun Theme Party.
  9. Have GARS Flags and Banner along the way in every city.
  10. Show off products made Locally (in the state or within 200 miles)
  11. 2007 Theme will be 75th Anniversary – have all local residence who are 75 sometime during the year be part of a special event.
  12. Have Big Kick-off Entertainment Event
  13. Work with Habitat for Humanity to build homes.
  14. Work with Veterans to honor them for they made it possible for this to happen.
  15. Have a Special Night at the Baseball game or other popular sport.
  16. Have an Art Show.
  17. Have an Antique Show.
  18. Have an All-America Products Trade Show.
  19. Have a tour of Special Gardens ( i.e. Descanso Gardens in La Canada)
  20. Have a tour of Architectural or Unique buildings.
  21. Do the History for the Area of each City.
  22. Have the colleges give scholarships for children of soldiers who were killed or injured in Afghanistan or Iraqi.
  23. Have the Toastmasters Clubs in each City have a contest for the Best Speech with an All-American Theme.
  24. Have each City give an award for “Citizen of the Year” and other similar type awards.
  25. Have a contest for writers who have an article printed in a newspaper or magazine for the Best Article with an All-American Theme - have prizes
  26. Have a Rodeo.
  27. Water Sports contests. If you have water, lets play in it!
  28. Tour the Petrified Forest in Holbrook, AZ.
  29. Have a tour of the Grand Canyon at Flagstaff, AZ.
  30. Have a special activity at the Cadillac Ranch near Amarillo, TX.
  31. Have a concert at Branson, MO.
  32. Tour the Precious Moments Park at Carthage, MO
  33. Travel through the Ozark Mountain in Northern Arkansas.
  34. Have special activities about Mark Twain on the Mississippi River
  35. Have special activities center around Lincoln in Illinois.
  36. Fireworks display (where appropriate).
  37. Native American dances.
