On Wednesday, the 29th, we went up to Bloomington and stopped by the courthouse museum. Built in 1903, this is a fine example of architecture in public buildings at a grand time in our history. |
Looking up to the dome is quite an experience. We have seen several public buildings, especially courthouses on this trip. This is one of the best. |

When you take a step back, actually I was across the street, you get a better feel for how majestic this structure really is. |
As I drove through Bloomington, I was reminded that we are in an area with history and buildings that go back a few years. Here is a row of buildings that could tell some stories. |

On the way back down to Atlanta, we stopped by the Dixie Truck Stop. This is one of the first all service stops for truckers. |
This is the sign that usually sits on this very tall pole out by the interstate. It was taken down for repair and it was soon realized that the sign was too big to get under the overpasses. So it will be repaired right here. |

| The Great All-American Road Show is a family values experience. We believe that integrity, hardwork, a strong moral compass and basic self-discipline are values that have made and will keep this country great. As we travel across this great land, it is our intention to let communities and individuals enjoy the freedoms we hold dear. We encourage everyone to do all things in moderation and exhibit a general concern for the welfare of others. | ![]() |
